The Surfaris Rock The 15th Annual Glendale Cruise Night

On Saturday night, July 19th, The Surfaris rocked Glendale's 15th Annual Cruise Night stage. The Surfaris along with fellow 60's rockers The Tokens(The Lion Sleeps Tonight), and Herman's Hermits(I'm Into Something Good), played to thousands of enthusiastic fans along Brand Ave. in Glendale. Event organizers estimated that 35,000 people were in attendance for this years Cruise Night. Legendary K-Earth 101 dj, Mr. Rock in Roll - Brian Bierne, Mc'd the event. Mr. Bierne told of when he first met these bands back in the early sixties.

Members from the surf band Longboard Ranch were in attendance. They had this to say this about The Surfaris set, "Great show at Cruise Night! You guys rocked, what a tight band. Cowabunga, surf's up!"

The Surfaris would like to thank everyone who came to show. Bob, Gene, Deven, and Joel all really enjoyed performing and chatting with the fans after the show.
